First stop: Boise! Yep. Flew from Arizona direct to Boise to see Tom Coleman. I am addicted to his wobblenaught fit, so had to take the opportunity to get my new Scalpel dialed before making my way to the other side of the pond. Thanks Tom!
And with wounds and all, managed a few bike rides with Brett. Damn, they hurt. I can not even tell you! Brett was awesome, carting me to and from the airport for my quick visit. But he did laugh at me a lot and tease me for my crash. NOT NICE, BRETT! And when he made me laugh, it hurt even more. Such a mean guy. Thanks Laura & Brett for hosting me! I know Brett is reading this!
But, then when I got home, nothing could brighten my day more than this:
After a week of running around and getting things done and a weekend of riding (almost pain free), I am off. See, my left arm is getting much better. Tegaderm is the best!
I am not looking forward to a long plane ride by myself, but I am excited to return and to experience mountain bike racing in Europe. At least it is much easier by knowing exactly where I am going. Get ready Family Schamp! Here I come again.
