Mountain biking Belgian style.

Day 3 in Belgium, it was time to find some 'real' mountain biking. Lucky for me, Jan (Kris Schamp's brother) was kind enough to accompany me to Overijse to "De Twee Valleien". Roughly translated, I believe that means "the two valleys". Don't quote me on that. I made it up. But it was a good ride and quite scenic with gorgeous weather.
Cobbles can be found on mtb tours too!!! Gotta love Belgium.
We got a little lost, but we made it back! Not our intended route, but oh well. Here is Jan without a clue!

I have to say, however, that Belgium has nothing on the good 'ol USA as far as mountain bike riding goes, but heck, it is close and it is riding. Nothing to complain about here. I hear the weather is quite miserable at home, so I just enjoy every second!
Tomorrow I head over to Houffalize to register, check out my first world cup course, and figure out the system, etc. I am not sure about the navigating and driving at the same time, but I will manage!

The bike looks good with mud on it too!!!
Only b/c it was Cass' birthday did I drink a beer. Man, it was good.
